The particularity of our village is its diversity. Vielle Saint Girons is made up of 2 small villages, 3 beaches, a lake, a total of 5 bathing areas with life guards during the summer, a huge forest, sign-posted pedestrian paths, cycle routes, all of the above being situated in the largest forest in Europe.

Saint Girons Village : It's the administrative, industrial and cultural centre of our village.

Saint Girons Beach : Two bathing areas with life guards, many kilometres of fine sand, a small high street : the perfect place to get away from it all.

Vielle Village : It's the educative and sport centre with its school, its stadium and its pediment. In the centre of the village, you will find a water tower decorated as a trompe l'oeil.

Vielle Beach : its wild beach (known as La Lette Blanche) and bathing area with life guard is widly appreciated. Nearby (1 km), there is a naturist beach, also with life guard.  This is the perfect spot to appreciate nature.

Leon’s Lake (Vielle side) : a bathing area with life guard, as well as many nautical activities: windsurfing, canoeing, boating, pedalos.  The ideal spot to appreciate the aquatic activities on your holiday.

Other activities : descent of Huchet stream (starting from Leon), mini golf, horse riding, markets (by night and on sunday mornings), numerous evening animations...
